We do have free trials available, so if interested, feel free to shoot us a call. We were approached by Teradici and VMware themselves to produce a more cost-effective unit, and that's exactly what we did. The way we were able to achieve this price point was by completely cutting out the middle man as well as designing and producing the product ourselves. EVGA PD02 Zero Client from HP HP, in partnership with EVGA, now offers a hardware-based PCoIP zero client. At $299.99 MSRP with TAA available, fiber NIC options rolling out, and EVGA's free 24/7 support, I have to say it's a solid advance into the VDI market. The main difference in this case is the price point for the unit. With that in mind, our next gen PD-02 is a completely original design, however with the exact same hardware as the P20 and previous PD-01, so you're not sacrificing any performance or functionality. Leadtek made them, we put a sticker on them. The Wyse P20, our PD-01, and numerous others that seems to look oddly similar are, as it turns out, exactly the same.

I hope I'm not beating a dead horse here, but just to toss out an idea - we here at EVGA have the smallest footprint zero-client on the market. Partner Name Model Type Client Type OS Version Horizon Client Release Supported Horizon Platfoms 10ZiG Technology 4410 Hardware VMware Windows 10 Iot(x86) Horizon Client 4.7 Horizon Cloud on IBM Cloud 18.3, Horizon 7.13, Horizon 7.12, Horizon 7.11, Horizon 7.10, Horizon 7.9, Horizon 7.8, Horizon 7.7, Horizon 7.6, Horizon 7.5, Horizon 7.4. So there are business cases that will determine the way to go, overall though a ZC is the best solution for a View environment. Say you need extremely high security and no information is allowed to exist on the end point, you must go with a Zero Client. It depends on your business needs, say you need prox support, you must go with a ThinClient (currently).

However one major advantage to a ThinClient is when you need something like 8-screens, you just need something more vercitle that allows you to drop in a video card. The EVGA PD02 PCoIP is a true Zero Client that provides a small footprint, low power operation, centralized virus protection, operating system versatility, and full USB device support. They also can't perform as well as a ZC, I mean just think about it, in a ZC there is a peice of silicon that is designed to handle PCoIP packets, that's all it does, in a ThinClient you have a generic CPU, probably an Intel that has to compile the PCoIP traffic (or RDP traffic) and send it. ThinClients will be more versitile, as they will allow you to connect to different type of desktops (not just VMWare View).
ZC are purpose built to connect to a View desktop, as such they are the most secure and will give you the best performance. While the Zero Clients are considered equal for the most part, ThinClients are anything but. well Wyse, their support rocks and the company is outstanding, this is why they win so many sales. You'll see the same thing from LG version soon. Samsung integrates the chip with a monitor - VERY cool. If you like how small the Pano is check out the HP EVGA.
- Uncompromised User ExperienceThe smooth, high-quality HD experience, bi-directional stereo audio, instant mouse and keyboard response, better space management, easy setup, installation and maintenance - the VMware View 4.5 & 4.6 certified PD02 PCoIP Zero Client gives you uncompromised user experience in the world of Cloud Computing.Remember with Pano it does not support PCoIP, and I hope you are doing PCoIP in a View environment.
- Plus, there is no virus or spyware to worry about.
All transmissions (display, USB, and audio) are hardware encrypted, USB devices are authenticated for access, corporate IP is protected, and even access is controlled. Introducing the EVGA PD02 Zero Client 0 18:52:21 can the system be set up to work like lan network to run high end games for say 12 to 18 ppl also what ISP speed requirements are there for doing something in that platform.
- Intrinsic Security FeaturesSecurity will not be a problem with the EVGA PD02 PCoIP as the data never leaves the data center. PCoIP Zero Clients are available in standalone, all-in-one, or laptop form factors from over 30 leading partners.
- No local storage maintenance or remote file servers and no need to replace client due to protocol updates, new applications, media, graphics, or memory restrictions.
